Called a flybar, it is definitely not recommended for anyone under the age of 14. It's kind of a skateboard, trampoline and pogo stick combo. This trampoline innovation has so many elastomnetric springs that it can toss a 200 pound person to a height of six feet. The springs can be adjusted to accommodate trampoline enthusiasts who weight between 120 and 250 pounds. The Flybar trampoline knock off is driven solely by the strength of your legs and your weight.
The cost of this trampoline-like toy is a little hefty - $299.99.
Important trampoline accessories, both for your safety and comfort as well as the life of your trampoline include an optional trampoline cover and trampoline ladder. The $40 trampoline cover protects your trampoline, extending its life by reducing the harmful effects of the sun, salt, leaves and rain that land on your outdoor trampoline. You can also send the message to your children that the trampoline is off limits when the cover is in place. This can protect them as well as your trampoline.
A trampoline ladder, retailing at about the same cost as the cover - $39.95 - is made of steel that is high in carbons and coated with power, so that it can stand up to many years of rain and the sun's UV rays. You can choose from two trampoline ladder heights - either 39 or 47 inch.
