Trampoline Pads
Trampoline pads and other trampoline parts do wear out, from all that bouncing. At some point in time, no matter how high end the quality of your trampoline you're going to have to replace the pads.
You can purchase trampoline pads for as little as $14.99. For a standard trampoline, such as the Slendertone Flex Ads and GymBody, you can purchase a package of three pads. One pad is large, the other two small.
For the Slendertone BT, the upgraded trampoline version, you'll pay $17.99 for trampoline pads that come in a package of six - two large and three smaller. Trampoline pads for the trampoline frames come in a variety of replacement sizes. You can choose trampoline replacement pads for frames as small as six feet six inches in diameter or as large as 15 feet in diameter. (To determine what size you need you would measure the circumference of the top rail from outside edge to the other outside edge.)
To exemplify we looked at own trampoline and sports equipment retailer that offered trampoline pads and parts that can be ordered online and shipped right to your door.
This online trampoline resource offered six foot six inch diameter trampoline pads for $65 plus the cost of shipping and handling. This blue and green trampoline pad weight twelve ounces, is made of vinyl that is UV resistant, is 10 inches wide with an interior of one inch of foam. This trampoline pad carries a six month limited warranty.
The same firm's eight foot trampoline pad is $70, and it's ten foot pad $90. Once you get to a 12 foot diameter trampoline the trampoline pads are a little different - and of course a little more costly.
There are two quality levels in 12-foot trampoline pads, one retailing at $95, the other at $120. The standard $95 same blue and green twelve ounce pad as the smaller trampolines, with UV resistance and one inch foam filling. It has added, however, a 4-inch skirt around the trampoline. The upgraded version of the 12-foot trampoline pad, has a thicker foam made of polyethylene, designed for high impact and larger bodies. It also has upgraded straps to hold the pad in place as well as the four-inch trampoline skirt.
The most expensive trampoline pad, retailing at $140, is the deluxe trampoline pad for the fifteen-foot trampoline. It offers the polyethylene high impact foam interior and a three-inch skirt to drape around the trampoline frame. What it also has that is unique, however, are bungee straps that give you more trampoline workout flexibility while still keeping the trampoline pad in place on the frame. This trampoline pad comes with a one-year warranty against dry rot and unstitching.
